Although this poster does show the main actor it is clearly not trying to sell the film off the star power of Ryan Reynolds. His image is pretty much buried amid all the black space. |

Knight and Day
The faces of two major stars are completely absent from this design. Although it has the feel of a teaser, this artwork seemed to end up being the main poster for the film's promotion, which is surprising considering how we've come to expect Tom Cruise's face taking up at least 3/4 of the available poster space. |

You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger
Many of Woody's Allen's films avoid showing off the faces of the big name stars and this one is no exception. Perhaps it is because he typically has such a large ensemble of well known actors that there would be no way to fit them all on the poster without it seeming terribly cluttered. (Compare it to this version, for example.) |
