2010 Internet Movie Poster Awards - Best Poster Nominees
Black Swan
There were a lot of great posters for Black Swan and we're sure there will be plenty of debate over which one is best. This version is our pick, showing the perfect beauty of Natalie Portman's character. Perhaps a bit too perfect as the cracks are beginning to show in the facade.
Buried
This Saul Bass inspired design sends the head spinning as we spiral down into the depths. Very eye-catching.
I'm Still Here
People often complain that faces on posters these days are Photoshopped to such a degree that they look like mannequins. No such worries with this poster, as we see Joaquin Phoenix looking about as dishevelled as Nick Nolte's mug shot. Add in an almost-not-there type face and the result is a real attention-getter.
Rabbit Hole
This design gets more interesting the longer you look at it as it seems to tell the story of this woman's emotional journey as she goes from despair, to sadness, to reflection, and eventually to happiness.
127 Hours
Time is running out for trapped climber Aron Ralston and this hourglass design made out of the mountains with the setting sun in the background does a great job of symbolizing the situation he finds himself in.
